Education
After taking my GCSE's, I went to college and achieved a triple Distinction on the BTEC ND in Music Practice course. From here i went to university and gained a First Class Honors degree (1:1) in Music and Education. I am currently 3/4 of the way through my PGCE, or in simpler terms, my secondary School music teacher training course.

Interests
My main interest is obviously music! I enjoy playing a variety of instruments, such as guitar, flute and cello, though none to graded standard. I am concentrating on learning the piano at the moment, as this is essential to my music teaching, and after hours of painstaking practice, I finally achieved a merit for my Grade 5 practical :) My main musical passion, other than teaching, is composing. I like to compose for orchestral ensembles, but do sometimes write for guitar and vocals, and recently I have been having a go at writing music for film trailers. I listen to a wide variety of music, favorites of mine being System of a Down, Serj Tankian, Pendulum, Evanescence, Muse, Danny Elfman and Newton Faulkner.

Hobbies
I am a big fan of Tim Burton Movies, my favorite being The Corpse Bride. I have started collecting figures and toys from the films, and i especially love my giant Jack Skellington Pillow! To relax, i enjoy reading, especially books by Anne Rice. When time allows i also enjoy making cute little plush toys, which you can see here

Love Life
I have been with my wonderful, fantastical, amazingly fabulous boyfriend Carl since 23/08/02! I love him to pieces! He is an amazing graphics/web designer, and i can thank him for this website layout. Check out his work here
